Favorite video game?

I'm not a huge video game person, and most of what I have played, I epically suck at. But, I can say with confidence that I am a Wii Tennis and Wii Bowling prodigy. I also like Guitar Hero, even though I have yet to actually make it through a song. It's pathetic...yes, I know. For me, the question of video games should be "Which one do you have the most fun sucking at". Lol.

Describe your perfect day - from morning to night. What would you do/eat and who would you spend it with?

First I'd wake up very early, but I wouldn't be tired the whole day. Then I'd stay outside the whole day and read. Finally, I stay up all night and watch the stars. I'd eat gummy worms all day and drink Coke Zero. It would be awesome. That or I'd go up to New York City and see EVERY Broadway musical, but that'd be quite expensive.

What's your favorite commercial on TV?

I love the Herbal Essences commercial where the tough looking biker shows off his long, lusciously flowing locks.

Where do you stand on affirmative action, and why?

Yes, now we're on politics.
Affirmative Action: While, as a female, I could stand to benefit from it, I don't like it. People should be hired because they are good, not they're African-American or female or formerly from India. I want to get my job because I was the best qualified person. If I knew that a man and I were equally qualified and I only got the job because I was a female... That would anger me more than if I had been denied the job because I'm a female.

To keep on our politics: Do you like or dislike president Obama and why?

Canada. My parents have this thing that you shouldn't go seeing other countries unless you have seen your own.

You have a piece of paper and a pencil. What are you going to do?

Draw. Probably a naked woman. My calculus notes were swallowed in doodles of female nudes this past year. (They weren't stick figures either--full blown realistic women, I tell you. It was slightly awkward when my teacher would peek over to see what I was doing.)

What is the most useful gift that you have ever received?

I recieved my computer as a gift, so I'd say that. I use it A LOT, probably too much.

What do you do RIGHT before you go to bed (Not fall asleep , but lay down)?

I cut off the light...yeah I know it's not very interesting...but sometimes the truth isn't.

What is a secret desire you have? (ex. something you want to do/make)

To sing on Broadway. It will never happen though. I can't sing worth anything. Still I would love to stand on that stage just for a few moments and know that the applause is for me.

What colour is most similar to you and why?

White, because it's made of lots of different colors that become apparent based on the size of energy quantum being released as they pass through the prism! I have a lot of different moods, many based on how energetic (blue), sane (yellow), or dispassionate (red) I am feeling. I like to think that I am mostly blue and purple though

If you could go to any other Summer Residential Governor's School (either different discipline or a whole new program, like a language academy), what would it be and why?

I wanted to apply for life sciences because I've recently considered looking more into the medical field. though I don't want to be like a general doctor or surgeon I realize the medical field covers a wiiiide range of professions. but then I figured I'd have an extremely slim chance of getting in to that one...


would you rather be deaf or blind and why?

Blind. Music is everything to me, and I couldn't imagine life without it.

If you could be on any show, what would it be?

Are we talking about reality shows? I'd have to say American Idol, provided that I could sing. But then again, that's the only reality show that I really watch. I think something like Survivor would be fun though, too. Just to test my own personal endurance I guess.

Out of a choice of the typical vending machine candy bars, which would you choose? Lame, but that's all I've got a the moment. Haha.

A madman who has threatened to explode several bombs in crowded areas has been apprehended. Unfortunately, he has already planted the bombs and they are scheduled to go off in a short time. It is possible that hundreds of people may die. The authorities cannot make him divulge the location of the bombs by conventional methods. He refuses to say anything and requests a lawyer to protect his fifth amendment right against self-incrimination. In exasperation, some high level official suggests torture. This would be illegal, of course, but the official thinks that it is nevertheless the right thing to do in this desperate situation. Do you agree?

No, I didn't think of that myself. I found it on google.

I don't agree. Not because it is illegal by law but because I think that it is something we should not do as people. In the time it takes to get the person and for him to break down the bombs will have probably gone off and not only are all those people dead but we have mutilated one additional life.

I tend to choose the simplest morals to ground my life: "Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you... even if they are a crazy serial killer" (betcha haven't heard of that one)

If you could hear peoples thoughts but it had to be constantly would you want to?

Yes. I think it would be interesting to hear other people's thoughts. I also have this fear that people are talking bad about me (Vain, I know) so it'd be nice to know if they were.

If you could do one thing without being afraid of getting in trouble, what would you do?

I'd run away from home and set sail onto the ocean blue and journey to a mysterious island!

would you ever consider joining the military and why/why not?

I wouldn't join because it's not in my best interest and I've heard some downright miserable-sounding stories from women in the military.

Umm, if you could have any superpower, what would it be?

To fly. The idea of being in the air just seems magical, no matter how cliche.

I'm not really sure what I want to be when I grow up.
Lame I know haha.
But I'm looking at music education specifically in the high school level.
And psychology mainly in bipolar and depressed individuals.
