Performing Arts kids- Lets get to know each other

so it's kinda a spoof of "humanities - lets get to know each other". If you're performing arts, state your name, discipline (e.g. instrumental, theatre, etc.), something about yourself, and some random fact about yourself...
I'll go first: I'm Levi Ballard, I'm an instrumentalist (tuba). I like running, sports (except baseball), and any other type of physical activity. random fact: I broke my arm 2 summers ago while attempting to dive through an inflatable inner-tube. I missed the hole and managed to break my arm.

Im Katherine Riedel. but people call me Kat. I'm going for dance =). I love taking biotech classes and I'll debate any issue with anyone, anytime regardless of what side I have to be on.

I'm an instrumentalist-Oboe (go figure)
I'm big into Marching Band, and I also play tenor sax and violin. I was captain of the swim team, and I keep myself busy with tons of homework.
Random Fact: I used to run spring track (2 mile), but I ended up not returning this year.

I'm Arianna and will be attending Governor's School for Vocal Performance. I sing Alto II I am in the Madrigals and Concert Choir at my school and I love both groups! In my free time I love to play the piano, listen to music (kind of obsessed), run/work out and hang out with friends. I am really looking forward to this summer!

I'll be 17 on Friday. I am going to Summer gschool for theatre. I live in this little town called redneck cove aka hicktown aka Verona. It is a place so opposite of me and I hate it.
I am obsessed with Broadway and New York City *gasp I know...a theatre kid who loves NYC and broadway...shocker!!*

Hi Libby, I really like your picture. One time when I was doing Grease, I had to roll this podium off stage, and when I swung it around, I knocked the podium over, flipped over the podium, and went flying off stage. Thanks goodness it was a rehearsal. Then I tripped and busted my head open on a metal bird bath while in a dragon costume in front of my drama class...had to be escorted to the emergency room and all. I guess we can be klutzs together this summer. What klutzy things have you done?

Hey Michelle. You got in for dance, that is so awesome. I'm not trained, but I've had some really good experience with a choreographer in my area. Like, I'm getting really good at dipping partners, and doing ballroom, and a little bit of tap (time-steps). That's about it, though, lol. I like to move! Do you dance in theater productions or anything, or do you just do recitals and other dance-only performances?

Levi, good for you for running. I started running for about a month...I loved it and it made me feel good about myself, but then I stopped. I cannot tell you any specific reason as to why, but I just did. Anyway, I would probably look like an idiot next to you in the (now infamous) "Governor's School Running Group."

BRRRRRIIIII!!! Of course, we know each other well . I think you rock for being so open and friendly. And oh, I forgot to say Happy Birthday the other day! So, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I would sing it for you, but you probably couldn't hear me. And the musical revue was great. We all came together and put on a pretty decent show. One guy sang One Song Glory and I thought to myself Bri would love this. Seriously, he had so much soul and passion, and he hit every (extremely high and difficult) note without a problem. I thank you so much for convincing me to do Cellophane, it was definitely the best choice. Text me when you're in the city, fo' sho'. In the Heights Cool Musical 2 (or whatever it's called was hilarious!).

Hey Adrianna, I absolutely love Altos (especially the II's ). They add that perfect depth to a choral song. The world definitely needs more altos and less sopranos. Anyway, it's nice to meet you and hopefully I'll see you over the summer. You look just like my old "friend" Allison, so I'll recognize you.

Hey, I'm Jared. I'm going to Governor's School for theater. I love acting. My Speech and Drama class is the best part of my school day. We are a very close group...actually we're more like a little family.

Here's a tale of my on stage klutziness:
So for A Dream Play I played a goddess and for the finale of the show I had to walk out with this big basket of things representing the troubles of the human race. For my dramatic exit I had to walk over a fence in between these two crazy trees. My basket got caught on one of the trees while I was exiting so I had to either bring the tree down or lose the basket. I dumped out the basket, tried to make it look like it was on purpose and kept on walking.

I'm planning to major in ballet preformance and hopefully become a professional dancer, but right now I'm working on my associates degree so that I can go back to school and have the prereqs out of the way for nursing school. I want to be an ER nurse =D

I sometimes can't make up my mind as well.. I am actually a really indecisive person but usually for more trivial things. But then I just debate both sides! There isn't anything in general I like to debate I guess. I just like bringing up interesting sides of things not commonly thought of. I tend to hate political debates because they just turn into who can shout the loudest and no one really listens to each other's side. You know?

I love what you said, that all you want in life is to achieve your dreams. I am the same way. I would do anything just to be in a theatre somewhere. Preferably performing, but just to be part of the world would be enough. It is my everything.
