Macaroni and cheese, any kind of fruit, rice, salmon, and cheesecake. But what you'll probably learn about me (and find very strange, as everyone else I've met has) are the things I DON'T like. Such as chocolate, donuts, coffee, any form of condiment, etc. I'm not a picky eater, but there are those few things that I just can't eat.

NO SWEET TEA IN THE NORTH OR WEST? That's so odd! I guess I never realized how southern Virginia is... Smile

I like to refer to us as "south Northern" I mean the line is like RIGHT THERE!!! haha. But yes..no sweet tea anywhere else. Good thing I figured out how to make my own sweet tea. Hm....but i wonder...does Mcdonalds not do sweet tea anywhere else?

When I first arrived in the US I thought "sweet tea" was in the same sort of category as "Lipton's Brisk Iced Tea".

I was sooooooooooooo wrong, haha.

That's odd that some of the NoVA McDonald's don't have sweet tea... all the McDonald's up here in Michigan do. Honestly, McDonalds seems to be the only place to get sweet tea in Michigan... probably because most of us Northern folks can't stand the stuff (me? I love it).

As for favorite foods, my home state foods of smoked whitefish, beef & rutabaga pasties, and anything with tart cherries ranks pretty high. But, I love, love, love good southern barbeque, and can't wait to get back to Virginia to enjoy that luscious indulgence. Smile

This makes me believe you lived somewhere else before living in the US, I could be mistaken, but if you lived in a foreign country, where did you live?

i'm surprised no one has mentioned nutella? unless i missed it... food of the GODS
i'm also addicted to pad thai. it's my default "there's nothing in the fridge/my or my mom don't wanna cook" carry-out suggestion.
so goood!! i also really like latin american chicken like pollo rico- theres a place where i live called crisp and juicy, which sadly only has 2 locations that i know of =(

and mcdonalds up here have sweet tea, but i don't really like it, its a bit too sweet. my mom gets half sweet half unsweetened.

That's awesome Francis! I've always wanted to visit Japan, but I can't convince my mom to go, but it's one of the first things I want to do when I have the ability to do so on my own.

And I guess someone at Gov. School is going to have to introduce me to Pad Thai, b/c I have no idea what that is.

I went to Mexico, where they make their soft drinks with pure cane sugar. It was NO JOKE. Honestly, I have yet to have something that sweet since i've gotten back, it was like syrup, but not as thick, and much more refreshing. You want to talk about SWEET TEA? I bought a can of Nestea in Mexico... it was enough to make you diabetic.

As far as food goes, I love Italian food, especially pasta. Fettucini Alfredo is my favorite dish. I also love spaghetti, and ravioli. Pizza's pretty good. I work at a pizza place.

Cajun food is pretty good, although I absolutely detest gumbo.

I'm also a guy who really enjoys a good cheeseburger and fries. I'm also a big fan of macaroni and cheese.

Sweet tooth club! I inherited it from my grandmother. However, because she grew up in China, she still hasn't been introduced to some crazy American stuff. A few years ago we fed her her first jumbo marshmallow. She was amazed!

Last night my brother and I made red velvet cupcakes. They were mighty yummy, if I do say so myself : )

I prefer salty and sour foods to sweet ones. I have been known to indulge in some "ottor" pops however.
