Hey, I'm Ace, I'm from Salem High School in Virginia Beach and I'm in the Humanities program.
I'm:
-A rising senior.
-a vocal musician (I hate the term "singer").
-a music lover. (I listen to everything from Daft Punk to Ludacris. I very rarely dislike any music, and even if I do, I respect all genres.)
-an actor.
-really excited to meet you guys!

Yeah, but she is a sophomore. So that could be why.

I'm originally from Christiansburg I went to school in Shawsville, which is right next to Salem!

Actually funny story.
There are two Salem High Schools in VA. The one we're referring to is in Virginia Beach. There's another one, in Salem.
Don't worry. People confuse us all the time.

Hey I'm Cara and I found about this discussion board reallly late. I'm another theatre kid (yay!) and I live in Arlington which is close to Reston... to jump on the bandwagon. My theatre teacher actually lives there.
I'm 17, and I really wish I could sing because I love broadway, but my voice has been compared to a dying cat. So I'm a straight actress.

I can't waittttt. You all seem really nice so I'm totes excited.

OMG Cara!! (I'm bri btw) finally another actress who can't sing!! I wish I could because I am a broadway finatic however my best friend....who has the most amazing voice I have ever heard in my life....frequently tells me that my voice sounds like that of a tone deaf banchee being massacred by a chain saw. Yeah he's noce. he makes me sing so he can laugh

Bri, I literally just exploded in laughter when I read that! My family thinks I'm insane because I just keep laughing.

Regardless of what you think, I believe there is hope for you! I'm not giving up on your massacred-tone-deaf-banschee singing voice yet! And BTW, I know it isn't as bad as you (or your friends) say it is...

Yay, Natalie! Maybe we can go running together. I'm not sure what your idea of slow is, but I am a distance runner as well, and I am dedicated and need to stay dedicated during the CNU program. I love iced tea too. Too bad you aren't in the humanities program. I might forgive you. I'm Christina, by the way...humanities teacher at the program. It's my first year and I am so excited!
