The Question Game

I would return to the summer I went to MAD (Music Art and Drama) Camp, because it was the best week of my life!

If you could know one mystery of life, what would it be?

I would want to know why the things that happen happen. Whether or not life is all set out for us like a book and we just have to go from page to page without reading ahead, or whether it invents itself as we go. If it was the first one, then I'd kind of like to read the book, I guess. Haha.

If you knew that you could have the best love with someone possible, but they would die within a few months, would you still want to experience that romance knowing that you would eventually lose them? Would your answer change if they were to betray you instead of die?

I would definitely say yes if they were to die. I think any experience like that would be worth having, even if it comes to a painful end. If they were to betray me then clearly it is not the best love possible, so i wouldn't do it lol.

What event in history would you most like to live through (any amount of time thats not longer then your normal life)?

Probably when Julius Caesar was coming into power in Rome and up until the time he was assassinated...because I fell in love with Ancient Rome while I was taking Latin.

If you could know how your life is going to turn out, would you want to know or would you rather not know?

i strive to have a good laugh every single day, and generally i achieve that goal
today it was thanks to an english presentation, where the person referred to a brief adulterous affair as a "mate and run"
i had to laugh quietly though because it was being recorded.


on the opposite end of the spectrum when was the last time you cried?

My mom and I had a fight over my lack of work around the house and that made me cry out of frustration. I waited until I stormed out. It's really strange since my mom and I rarely fight.

What song do you find yourself identifying with the most?

What is your favorite super corny pickup line??

I have to say I like the "If you were a pirate, which shoulder would you have your parrot on? This one, or this one?" Insert sly arm-placing-around-the-shoulder here.

What's your favorite board game and why?

Is Apples to Apples a board game? If so, then that is my favorite. (If not, I always love Clue and Battleship.)


Choose one person from a novel or from history that you think would be the greatest best friend, who would it be? Why?

I think that Marie Antionette would be a good friend. Despite all the awful things history says about her, I think she'd be really nice. More of a misunderstood creature. I would also like to be friends with Elphaba from Wicked by Gregory Maguire. The whole standing up for your beliefs thing makes me love her.

What is your favorite flavor of gum and how often do you chew it?

Bubble gum. I chew it whenever possible. I'm a huge gum moocher - I never have my own and I'm always asking people for it. I'll be sure to bring some in July though so that I don't annoy you guys all that much. But bubble gum you can always scout out because of the smell. Whew. That belongs in the Quirky thread, huh? Lol.

What's the one thing that you're leaving behind at home in July that will be the hardest to live without? Person or thing...and why.

Well....phone is the obvious one (i love my phone) but its actually not what I'll miss the very most. I'm going to miss my room the most i think. Its like my own little place basically covered wall to wall with NYC stuff. It makes me happy just walking in. If I could transfer everything in my room to gov school I'd be happy but we can't have nails in the walls and I'm pretty sure my roommate (Amy) would kill me. haha I need to find something to hang up though. bare walls depress me.

Counting Crows - Big Yellow Taxi!!!! I HATE THIS SONG SOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!

If you could drop kick any person in the world in the face, who would it be?

It'd be George Bush. Yes, I know everyone says that, but I just don't like him. It's not him as a person, but what he's done to my family. You can no longer mention politics anywhere around us without there being a huge fight and everyone getting mad. I blame it on him.

You're on a dessert island. What kind of dessert island is it?

Its te giant Pokemon Island from the Original Pokemon series after they were thrown off the S.S. Ann

What is the one thing that you will be bringing to Gov. school that means the most to you?

It's my iPod, sadly. I bought it with my own money and I'm VERY possessive of Marvin. Yes, my iPod has a name and I love it dearly.

What is the smell you most enjoy to smell?

I love the smell of pavement just at is begins to rain. At least I assume it is the pavement I'm smelling...

What is the stupidest thing you have ever heard somebody say?

I was talking to one of my friend who happens to be the president of the FFA (future farmers of America) and we were talking about zipcodes and I told him I knew 10010 was a zipcode in Manhattan and he's like....nu uh, thats New York City's zipcode. I go "sweetie.....Manhattan is in New York City" and he gets this blank look on his face and goes...."nu uh?!" yeah........

What phrase or word do you catch yourself saying frequently?

"Vasquez, NO!" Its an inside joke at my school.

If you had to be stuck on a deserted island with only one other person, who would it be?

Can I pick myself? I'm the kind of person whose very happy being alone. I can go days without talking to people, which isn't great for my social life. If I had to pick someone I'd pick my sister, just because she's the kind of person who I can relate to and she has this strange need to be around people constantly. Though we fight, it's not bad.

How do you usually wear your hair?

its is always up in a messy bun, always. No exceptions unless i am sleeping however i am trying to change my ways but it is very difficult because my hair annoys me but i dont want to cut it off....conundrum at its finest

If you could go anywhere (no limits) where would you go and why?

I'd go to New York City and just live there. That or London. I love them both for their culture and life.


What is your favorite thing to drink?

(PS: Kinsey, I have the same conundrum. I HATE my hair, but I'm too scared to shave my hair off. )

I'm gonna say Diet Coke, it is so far superior to regular coke.
