T-shirt Designs

The second mailing mentioned this year's t-shirt design. I have a few questions about it, some broad and some technical.

1. Is the theme "If..." meant to be completed by the individual or to be left as an open ended idea?
2. What is the smallest line that the screenprint will be able to capture?
3. Is the print a one color screen print? If so, what color ink? (I would imagine so, but if several colors are allowed, that's excellent.)
4. Should the design handle both sides of the shirt, and if so, is there any information that should be incorporated into the design (such as program name and year)?
5. And finally, what format (drawing size, medium, etc) should entries be presented in?

Ok... I don't know the answers to all of these, but here goes...

1. My guess is open ended idea... the theme does need to be in the design in some way.

2. I'll get back to you on that...

3. It will only be one color, but the color changes depending on the shirt color. These colors have not been picked yet.

4. The design is only for the back of the shirt. Include theme and all disciplines of GovSchool (vocal music, instrumental music, art, dance, humanities) There could be more...

5. 8.5 x 11. ink

I don't know why this popped in my head.

But the "If" theme made me think of those childhood quotes, like:
"If pigs could fly"
or
"If money grew on trees"
But, I'm no artist. lol
