Where would you live?
If you could live anywhere besides your current residence, where would you live?

I think I would live in Italy. The weather is beautiful and the people are very friendly.

I plan on living in Japan to teach English, so I guess I would choose there... I'll become a kabuki actress!!! (sans prostitution! haha even though they don't do that anymore)

Re: Where would you live?
Can I have more than one residence? In the summers, I'd live in southern Ontario, someplace remote on a lake, but within driving distance of Toronto and especially Stratford (okay, I'd still do July in Virginia to teach at Gov School). In the winters, I'd live on St. John. And, of course, I'd regularly bunk with iheartnyc at her place in Manhattan.

I'd be pretty happy to just have my own house anywhere... but I did enjoy Salzburg, Austria. It's beautiful

Re: Where would you live?
Japan is fantastic! I lived their for a while and loved it, I would go back and live there as an adult but I've lost any bit of Japanese I've learned :/
I've always wanted to live somewhere European, I've always been interested in the continent in general but I've never been there.

Charleston, South Carolina.
Anywhere on the beach. East coast.
Paris, France to visit.
Tokyo to visit.
Actually, why not just buy a boat and sail around the world?
And I really, really, really want to do Peace Corps work or State Department work or SOMETHING in Western Africa.

I'd like to go live in Germany for a while, that is where my grandfather is from. However, I'd also like to live in Venice, Italy, Rome, England, and New York City. The last is probably the most likely.

OMG Hatterass, North Carolina! I love that place! Sure in 100 years the sea level will rise and it'll be wiped out but I LOVE that place. And once it's gone I'll move to Europe, or maybe China/Taiwan/Hong Kong, or by that time maybe the Moon!

Re: Where would you live?
I lived in Germany for awhile, my dad worked for the military and all. It was pretty interesting. Loads of History.
I would want to live in St. Tropez, France. Its right on the med. sea, warm, and my years of taking french would not be wasted.
I would love to be in Peace Corps. I am thinking about heading a humanitarian group when I am older. I guess you have to have a future job idea.

Re: Where would you live?
Definitely Berne, Switzerland. I visited the country (and a few other places in Europe-London, Paris, Munich, Lucerne) over spring break and I fell in love. Gorgeous scenery, friendly people, and an overall clean, pleasant, laid back atmosphere. You can actually drink out of the large fountains that run in the middle of the city!

Re: Where would you live?
I would love to spend more time in Segovia; I visited only briefly and fell in love with the city. (And its pedestrian friendly streets!)
I could see myself living in DC near the museums...I don't know if I could take the stress of a huge city, but I do like the conveniences of city life. I could also see myself living out in the middle of nowhere raising chickens or something. Hopefully not the suburbs. Pleeeese not the suburbs.

New York City is amazing. I actually had the chance to go to Manhattan twice this year to perform. Once with Timbaland, and once at the Lincoln Center as part of Lincoln's 200th birthday celebration. I decided from the first step I took in NYC, I have to move there... or at least visit often.
