Re: Which Seminar?
I really like Speak the Speech. I'm also thinking on Love connections but then again I've always wanted to learn yoga. Gah they shouldn't force such decisions on us!! Well atleast we all have something in common already We are all (as Taylor so uniquely put it) "increda-indesicive" haha. How many do we get to choose in all, does anyone know?

Re: Which Seminar?
Amen to all of that. I just wish they would let us do all of them. Bri, I was looking at the yoga one too!
Re: Which Seminar?
Yoga! Last summer I took a few classes. It's a really great as a sport/relaxation/hobby. One, I love the philosophy of "if it hurts...come out of it." That's a great change of tempo from running where the whole point is to learn to endure more and more pain. But then again, certain poses are really tough...I took a class with lots of strong, bendy old people.
I was really bad at the deep relaxation because I'd always fall asleep. Oops.

Re: Which Seminar?
I think the question of how many you take was indeed answered in another thread (you take one seminar all month) but I'll add two other tidbits to his discussion.
With the way the schedule works for the month, the seminar will meet a total of 15 times.
The seminars are designed to be small - 12-15 students in each.
When you sign up, we'll ask you for your top six choices from the seminars. As we've never done these before, I have no idea how numbers will fall out so we want lots of options.
Hmm, guess that was three tidbits of info...

My first pick was Speak the Speech and then Dynamic Musical Theater. Those are the ones I'm interested in the most.

My top three in order are Studentiade, Body Modalities (because I just can't deal with Yoga, my mom's a fanatic), and Daily Process.

Re: Which Seminar?
Hello all,
If Your Song Told a Story, Seminar is about actively writing songs that tell stories or convey an emotion or feeling. Bring your instruments, guitars, mandolins, etc, and yes even your saw. By the way, James Knox Polk, a song that tells the entire story of the Presidency of, you guessed it, James Knox Polk features a saw in the song. We should have fun and maybe we will record some of the better efforts or worst, and post them somewhere depending on what we want to inflict on the unsuspecting masses.
see you on Sunday
Jeff
