Re: Favorite Movies
Which one? The knowing is w/ Nicholas Cage and about the numbers that predict natural disaters. Orphan..i don't really know, I just saw a preview in theaters this weekend. It's like this mentally disturbed girl that gets adopted and tries to kill the whole family. It looked good.

Re: Favorite Movies
I'm not big on Nicholas Cage, but I know what you're talking about. I haven't seen anything for Orphan, but from what you said, it sounds rather legit to me! Did you see The Strangers? That scared the crap out of me, but it was a really poorly made movie looking back on it. It was basically all music and suspenseful buildup. It wasn't as bad as Vacancy though...I rented that last weekend and it was so ridiculous. Almost to the point of being funny. The old movies are the best when it comes to horror, although, like I said earlier, The Uninvited was really impressive I thought.

Re: Favorite Movies
I really love Finding Nemo. We watching it a bajillion times in Spanish 3... get this--in English with Spanish subtitles. Needless to say that I did not learn much Spanish that year : )
Recently, I have really wanted to do an "all-6-star-wars-all-3-lord-of-the-rings-all-5-harry-potters" marathon. Which would be upwards of 30 hours, but, ya know. Whatever.

Re: Favorite Movies
Wow....that's kind of hard to choose...I've seen so many. Well here's just a few:
Merlin
Merlin's Apprentice (I like mid-evil times)
Clash of the Titans (also interested in greek mythology)
Clue
Taxi
The apartment (kind of an old movie but real good)
Martian Child is in my top ten favorites
The Nightmare Before Christmas and just about anything else by Tim Burton. He's probably my favorite director.

Hahaha Pineapple express was awesome! What dreams may come though is at my top, also across the universe, Meet the Robinsons, monsters v aliens was good 2. Anything with spongebob (i know thats weird). Pride and Prejudice, Bride Wars, October Sky was great and I live sorta close to there. Umm Oh and Dirty Dancing
Re: Favorite Movies
Pride and Prejudice!
Nothing beats that scene where Darcy is walking towards her through the field.
Def one of the top romantic movies of our time.
And Dirty Dancing?
Classic.

Re: Favorite Movies
Though I'd imagine (as I've heard many actors state) it's actually anything but romantic!! its cold and your wet and you keep swallowing water and other things that kinda kill the romanticism

Re: Favorite Movies
Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Into the Wild, Across the Universe, Memoirs of a Geisha, Pride and Prejudice, the Shawshank Redemption, Zoolander (it's so goofy, I can't help myself), The Notebook, The Dark Knight, most musicals... I'm open to most things. I don't mind horror movies, they don't really scare me--they're just not my favorite. Most of them aren't very good, although there are some exceptions.
As for Disney movies, I'm a huge fan! I especially love The Lion King and The Little Mermaid
