The second mailing mentioned this year's t-shirt design. I have a few questions about it, some broad and some technical.

1. Is the theme "If..." meant to be completed by the individual or to be left as an open ended idea?

2. What is the smallest line that the screenprint will be able to capture?

3. Is the print a one color screen print? If so, what color ink? (I would imagine so, but if several colors are allowed, that's excellent.)

4. Should the design handle both sides ...

Sorry, last minute question.

In the packet it said we'd be putting on variety shows where different students could work together to form their own acts, ect....

Im just wondering. Will there be ipod speakers there or does all music have to be on CD? (I'd rather not burn a lot of CDs unless I have to...and if its going to be a group number-well we obviously haven't decided what we are using music wise.)

Thank you! (I found the old ipod btw. )

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that attendance at the 8:30 announcements was mandatory, and it was written in such a way as to imply that attendance at breakfast wasn't. Is this actually the case? If so, that would be great, because that way we could presumably avoid worrying about getting all the way to the dining hall, waiting in line, etc, and just microwave something in the mornings (might ease up competition for the bathroom as well, actually).

Sorry, Im starting to feel like I'm being annoying-but I've got one more question

In the course information I was sent it states dress code for ballet class, modern class, and specialty?

And then the schedule says that we have our classes from 9-12. How is that going to work exactly...an hour of each?

and as far as the different dress code-should we bring clothing in our dance bag(colored leotard, ect) to change?

Promise-thats the last one!

For a while...

Okay, so this might not really apply to the other art disciplines and humanites but as far as dance goes.

We have classes in the morning correct? Starting around 8ish? Would we need to arrive dressed for class or is there some place where the actual studio is that we can change? Additonally will there be an oppertunity to shower so we don't have to walk around smelly all day?

Sorry. It just hit me the other day that Im not so sure I want to walk around in tights all day.

So... since we're going to be here over the summer... I'm assuming that the dress code is going to be kind of relaxed. I'm assuming that shorts and skirts are acceptable... there aren't length requirements for them though are there; As long as they're decent. And shirts, can we wear things with spaghetti straps or tank tops?

I am just wondering if there are rules on them other than not to use the one that we auditioned with. Do they have to be from a book? I found a really great one online and I just love it. How long do they have to be? Do they have to be classical? I am just trying to make sure that I have everything okay before I memorize something that is useless!! :/

TO ALL MY FELLOW THEATRE STUDENTS:

I hope that I am not alone in my crazy last minute quest to find the "ultimate monologue" for use during Gov School this summer.

That being the said, I was curious if there are any suggestions as to what may be a good source for finding said monologues. I am going to hit up my local Library in the morning to see what they have to offer. Also I might see as to what bookstores in a 10 mile radius (there are about 12) have to offer too.

1. Can you tell me a little more about the Busch Gardens trip? I have a military ID so I can get a discounted ticket. Should I buy it beforehand, or can you buy them at the park on the day that we go? What day are we going? It sounds to me like we all ride in together, and then sort of get "set loose" on the park. Is that correct?

2. Can we bring water guns, or are those considered "weapons"?

Long answer: Many folks are contacting the office concerned about the forms being received by us on time. First, our request is simply that they be mailed by May 18, though we certainly appreciate any that arrive prior to that date.

Second, at this stage of things we really don't want you faxing the forms, even if you are mailing them after the deadline. Things are often not particularly readable (like insurance photo copies) and we need the original signatures ...
